We'd like to thank bro. Joel Kirk for his effort in preparing all 10 posters. Unfortunately, this poster will not be printed due to time constraints but i guess it can be circulated through emails. So start sending! Just copy the image above and paste it in an email and cc it to all ur contacts. You'll never know just who might be interested. It's not too late to invite ur friends for this upcoming YDP on the 15th-18th of this month so please do. The last count of participants going was 86. So please help out and invite ur friends so that we can add another decimal place to that number. (=

Youth Planning Session for 2009

This is an Announcement,

There will be two youth planning sessions to be held. Here are the details.

Date: 20th & 27th December 2008

Time: Starts at 9 a.m.

Venue: Annex Room of the Church building.

What You've Missed

Okay, first of all i would like to apologise for not updating the blog for so long. I had my SPMs. heh. Well, now that it's over i'm gonna give u a brief overview of all the events that took place in the past couple of months. Enjoy. (=

First up, we had a baptism. Non other than our very own klang-ite, Jolene Chong Yen Yen!
She was baptised on the 5th of November, which was coincidentally her birthday too!

Secondly, we had the Gospel Meeting with Dr. Gary Young on Archeology on the 21st-23rd November.
PhD + Interesting topic + Wide-spread advertisements = plenty of visitors.
I think there were about 15 visitors on average per meeting. which is really great.

Then, we had the wedding of bro. Simon Yee and sis. Jacqueline on the 29th of November.
It was a wonderful event. The church building looked absolutely sublime with all the decor put up.
And the ceremony was another great success. With Bro. Eng Boon being our emcee for the event and bro. Rick Kirk the "officiating party". And many others who helped in the preperations for the event, bro. John Quek, sis. Lily Tan, and many others. Thanks for all the hard work y'all!

An old Saga Continues

A NEW SAGA BEGINS

i would like to write about my old saga...hhhmm...old junk you say?
you all are so so wrong..
guess wat..it beat many other cars today..
no..not in the race or gymkhana..although still possible perhaps
here is the story of it:

it was a rainy day..an exceptionally heavy rain..
my uni was invaded by H2O's...it was flooding...when i wanted to enter my college..the road was blocked due to flood..can see few pity car stuck there..
so i decided to come in from Jalan UPM at Petronas..
to my nightmare..it was WORSE!!!more car stranded.more frustrated drivers..
i cant turn back..(or TERM-BAK as my lecturer from Iran and Iraq will say). so i decided to brave the waters..

halfway in the flood..i kinda got scared as the flood water was worse than i expect..it was deeper than i fathom..water was seeping into my car..suddenly my engine started to jerk~oh my!!bad sign..
but i managed to pull through that peril..
phew!!!!
sadly the car in front of me died off..
but i was lucky..
and guess wat..my car escaped harmless except for wet interior...
need to get it for dry cleaning..
now my beloved saga is still continuing the journey..
journey as an old car..old but faithful..
shaky but firm..
slow but strong..
i admire my old car..
4G15 - you performed above my expectation and i am happy to be with u and Saga..

i wonder..can we be of that degree? serving our master above our limits...
imagine putting ourself as the car..
we are the saga and God is the driver..well..he is the best driver in town and world...
he is the best in everything..
hats off~!!
but if we encounter challenges such as floods, perils, troubles, and sadness, would we just die off like the car in front of me..or would we persevere and continue to serve our master?

i do hope i can be as reliable as my old saga..

Little Chef

The Sunday School organised this event which was held last Saturday.
Many youths and adults alike showed up to show support.
Needless to say, the event turned out to be a great success.
I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking. =)
